Trend Analysis explores developments that may affect a topic or sector. Separate current evidence from predictions when interpreting the result.
Define the analysis
- Describe the trends or decision you want to investigate.
- Choose a scope and supply a relevant sector and geography.
- Set a time horizon and choose the trend categories and source focus that fit your question.
- Add your own context, constraints or data when prompted.
- Choose the depth, style, audience and report language.
- Review the proposed trends, then choose Start Analysis.
The demonstration explores repair and reuse trends in Europe over one to two years. Optional questions and waiting time are shortened.
Read the result
Compare the Impact × Likelihood Matrix with the detailed discussion. The ratings are analytical judgements, not measured probabilities or promises. Check the final trend list against your intended scope and read the supporting sources before using its recommendations.
Use the contents navigation to explore the report. Choose Export for Word or PDF after reviewing the evidence, dates and assumptions.
Use Researcher for a broader investigation of an existing topic. Use SWOT Analysis to consider what the findings mean for a particular project.
