Writing Coach helps you draft or revise text. This example improves a fictional invitation; other starting choices ask questions suited to that type of writing.

Improve existing text

  1. Choose Improve existing text.
  2. Paste your draft and send it.
  3. Describe the change you want: tone, length, audience or structure. State which facts must stay the same.
  4. Read the revised draft. Ask for a specific follow-up if it misses the brief.
  5. Choose Copy message beneath the response you want to use and paste it into your document.

Example revision: “Make it warm and concise. Keep the date, time and venue unchanged.” Check the answer for added details before publishing it.

Start from an idea

Choose the relevant writing format on the start screen, provide confirmed facts and answer the follow-up questions. See How apps ask smart follow-up questions for advice on giving useful context.

Use Grammar Check when you want to review individual language corrections. Use Artifacts when the output is presented as an editable document with export options.
