How to ask GreenPT good questions

Give Chat a goal, relevant facts, an audience and a format, then refine the result with focused follow-up messages.

By GreenPT · 1 min read · English

A useful prompt explains what you want GreenPT to produce and gives it the information needed to do that. You do not need special keywords or a complex prompt template.

Include four things

  1. Goal: “Draft a short invitation.”
  2. Facts: the event, date, location and confirmed details.
  3. Audience: who will read it and what they need to know.
  4. Format: word count, bullet list, table or editable document.

Example

Write a 100-word invitation for a fictional repair cafe on 17 October, 10:00 to 13:00. Entry is free. Use a friendly tone for neighbours. Do not invent an address or booking link; ask me for missing details.

Improve the answer

Ask for one concrete change at a time: shorten the introduction, explain a term or separate facts from suggestions. Check names, dates and claims before using the result. Save repeated instructions as a skill.
