Open Meetings from the Apps catalogue.

Meetings can start from uploaded audio or the recording options offered in your browser. The video uses a 35-second synthetic recording of a fictional planning meeting.

Upload a recording

  1. Choose Upload audio.
  2. Select a supported recording and check the displayed size limit.
  3. Add an optional title that will help you find the meeting later.
  4. Choose Start and wait for transcription and summarisation.
  5. Read the summary, decisions, action items and open questions.

Only record or upload conversations you are authorised to process. When using Record microphone or Record online meeting, follow the displayed permission and recording controls. Device and browser support can differ; the video demonstrates upload, not live recording.

Verify the transcript

Choose Show transcript and search for a word or detail. Check names, dates, amounts and ownership against the recording. Speaker detection can combine or mislabel speakers, and a summary can infer more than was said. The synthetic example uses one generated voice and demonstrates why speaker attribution needs review.

Use speaker controls where available to review labels. Confirm an action’s owner before relying on or sharing it.

Export your notes

Use Copy summary, Export summary for Word or Markdown, or Download transcript (.txt). Review the result before sending it to participants.

For a short spoken Chat message, see Dictating instead of typing. For repeatable note formatting in Chat, use Skills.

Watch the video guide

Turn recorded audio into notes and a transcript · 39 seconds · Silent, with optional English captions. Loading pauses are shortened.
Read the video transcript

Choose Upload audio in Meetings. Select a recording and add an optional title. Choose Start to transcribe and summarise it. Review the summary. This example uses synthetic training audio. Show transcript to check wording, names and speaker attribution. Search the transcript for a detail such as the budget. Export the summary or download the transcript after reviewing it.
